About

I’m a dual US/Canadian citizen.  I’m fifty-one and have lived almost half my life in Canada.  I’m now in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia, where I teach religious studies at Saint Mary’s University.  I did my BA there in German, a Master of Theological Studies at Atlantic School of Theology, and my Ph.D. in Ethics at Union Theological Seminary in the city of New York.

I’m living in an apartment now, but for several years my hubby and I had a cottage farm about an hour from the city, where we grew most of our own food organically, and much of what we didn’t grow, we bought from neighbors.  It had been a dream of mine since I was a child, and I’m grateful for the opportunity, but life moved on, and here we are, ten minutes’ walk from the University where I work.  We practically live in the port.
